Rihanna's real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, born in February 20, 1988 in Saint Michael, Barbados in the West Indies. Her career was established in 2005 as dance pop icon after her debut "Pon de Replay" became a smash hit. After that popular hits follows like "S.O.S." in 2006, "Umbrella" in 2007, "Disturbia" in 2008 and Good Girl Gone Bad on her third album made her a fully-acknowledge international pop star.

In 2011, she gained 2011 Brit Award for Best International Solo Artist. She also received a total of four GRammy Awards, four American Music Awards, and eighteen Billboard Music Awards. Rihanna is known for her blending R&B with Carribean music, such as reggae and dancehall.

Rihanna's public image was first describe as heavily similar to Beyonce in many ways according to many critics but later she adopted but later she adopted a more sexual image after her third album, Good Girl Gone Bad. Her fashion and style made her in People's 10 Best Dressed Stars of 2008, ranked 17th in 2009 Galamour Magazine's list of 50 Most Glamorous Women. She appeared also on Maxim's Hot 100 list four four consecutive years. In 2007 she was named as Venus Breeze's "Celebrity Legs of a Goddess" by Gillette and in 2010 she was modeled as wax figure for Madame Tussauds in Washington DC. She made also several commercial endorsement for fragrances, sportswear, skin care and apparels.
