To 10 Highest Paid Woman Athletes in the World

According to Forbes Magazine the highest paid woman athletes in the world goes to the tennis player Maria Sharapova of Russia. She did not earned big money in tennis because of winnings but mostly in endorsements. Here is the complete list of top 10 highest paid woman athletes from July 2010 to July 2011:

Maria Sharapova of Russia, $25.0 million (tennis)
Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark, $12.5 million (tennis)
Danica Patrick of United States, $12.0 million (motor racing)
Venus Williams of United States, $11.5 million (tennis)
Kim Clijsters of Belgium, $11.0 million (tennis)
Serena Williams of United States, $10.5 million (tennis)
Kim Yuna of South Korea, $10.0 million (figure skating)
Li Na of China, $8.0 million (tennis)
Ana Ivanovic of Serbia, $6 million (tennis)
Paula Creamer of United States, $5.5 million (golf)

Take note that 70% of top 10 women highest paid athletes came from tennis sport, one in motor racing, one figure skating and another one in golf.

Katy Perry is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She start her career in music using the name Katy Hudson and did a gospel album in 2001 but it was flopped, also her album with The Matrix recording but did not released

In 2007, she adopted the stage name Katy Perry did her first internet single "Ur So Gay" with Capitol Musiv Group that get attention to public. In 2008, her second single "I kissed a Girl" went on top of international charts and she became famous. She did an album "One of the Boys" and became the 33rd best selling album worldwide in 2008. Her single "I kissed Girl" and second single "Hot n Cold" both received multi-platinum certifications. In 2010, her album Teenage Dream was debuted at number one on Billboard 200. The album includes the cart toppers "California Gurls", "Teenage Dream", "Firework", "E.T." and "Last Friday Night(T.G.I.F.). Her album "Teenage Dream" became of of only nine albums to ever produced four Hot 100 number ones. Her single "E.T." made her the first artist in history to spend a whole year 52 consecutive weeks in the top 10 of Billboard Hot 100.

Katy Perry made appearance also in The X Factor, a seventh series of British television show. She appear also in the recent film "The Smurfs".

Cher: the Artist for many Decades

Cher referred as Goddess of Pop, is Cherilyn Sarkisian on real name. She an American recording artist, Emmy Award-winning televesion personality, award winning actress, director, record producer and philanthropist. Some of her accomplishments in her career in music, television and film are an Academy Award, a Grammy Award, an Emmy Award, three Golden Globes and Cannes Film Festival Award.

Cher began her career in 1965 as backup singer and later as half of the pop rock duo Sonny and Cher. She established herself as solo recording artist, then as a television star in 1971 with "The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour" which she won a Golden Globe Award. She then starred in hit films "Mask, The Witches of Eastwick and "Moonstruck", in which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress 1988.

Cher's career span over six decades from 1960s up to present. She sold over 100 million albums worldwide. She holds the Hot 100 record for the longest hit-making career span. Cher ended her 3-year-long "Farewell Tour" in 2005 as the most successful tour by a female solo artist of all time. She was able to release 25 albums, 34 Billboard Top 40 entries over her career.
